I think I need to give up the DM ghost. I apologize for leaving it so last minute, but I just don’t have the time and resources right now. We’re down to the one computer at the moment and with the Husband recovering from surgery, he’s pretty much monopolizing it these days.

Well, this is understandable… I happened to get unexpectedly dragged away last night and was not able to be online. If JT wants to take over, I wouldn’t mind that at all.

I still haven’t fixed my internet connection- apparently the “Local Access Only” problem…

I cannot connect to any signal, whether it’s locked or unlocked and no matter how good the signal is. It will not give me anything other than “local access only”. I’ve tried rebooting in safe mode with networking and reconnecting, I’ve tried killing programs that interfere with signal, I’ve turned on and turned off over and fucking over and I cannot get the goddamn thing to connect.

Ok, I did a quick look around and I know you said you looked on Google but have you tried this here: http://www.thebitguru.com/articles/20-Fixing%20the%20local%20only%20internet%20access%20issue%20in%20Windows%20Vista

Making sure to try the automated fix provided by Microsoft first?

I still haven’t fixed my internet connection- apparently the “Local Access Only” problem was a blight upon HP via Vista that has yet to have a solid way to fix it- and the only solution anyone’s giving me is to upgrade to Windows 7, which requires money, so you see my dilemma.

I’ll be working on it all night tonight and if by some miracle I manage to either a/ get it to work or b/ catch my coworker at home tonight, I’ll be on, but let’s default to my not being there.

So sorry- I’m looking forward to gaming with all of you again. We had such a blast last week. Goddamn toads.

Can you give me a lil more info… maybe I can help you out with what is going on?

The next game session will be Friday at 6:30pm and aiming to finish up around 8:30pm. Central time. So 7:30-9:30 Eastern. I don’t think we have anyone on the West coast, do we?

Let me know if this presents an issue for anyone.

Wait.. what happened to Wednesday? Only person I saw say anything was Josh who said he had classes on Tues and Thur… so how did that interfere with Wed night? If you move it to Fridays, I am supposed to be doing something online at 8… so 8:30 might be pushing it for me…. but I can be there the other time.

Josh was also working on Wednesdays. How about if we move it from 6:30 to 6pm Central? So 6pm-8pm Central (7-9 Eastern).

If people can make that time, then that works excellently.

I had sooo much fun tonight… I want to thank jthawthorne for running it. I am sorry that near the end I was being overwhelmed with folks wanting to majorly distract me. That said, I can’t wait for next week!! I love this group of folks. Looks like it’s going to be a blast!
